About Us

We pride ourselves on our integrated school website, app and newsletter technology.  It’s the perfect way to take community engagement with your school to the “next level.”

Introducing KiwiSchools

We have a passion for helping schools get the very best from digital technologies so you can put your “best foot forward” to parents, students, the local community and beyond.

We’ve been doing it for over 20 years now.  We have a refined sense of what works—and what doesn’t!

KiwiSchools offers your school three key points of difference:

One partner. One platform.
Some schools use three different providers for their website, app and newsletter.  This probably means three different logins and passwords, potentially re-entering text or other content three times—ouch!  Not with KiwiSchools… we create and support all three for you.  We’re only an email or a phone call away.

Vibrant design
Secondly, the design quality of our school websites.  We are very proud of their vibrancy and impact.  We believe they help your school stand out from the crowd.

KiwiSchools Central
Our school administrators would probably choose the superbly-integrated admin platform, KiwiSchools Central, as the star feature.  It simplifies and integrates everything, reducing the workload for time-poor school staff.  So, you have only one company to call and only one place to log in to update ALL your content, notices, messages etc.  That’s a real benefit for busy school staff!

Obviously, your school makes an effort to welcome prospective parents and then keep them abreast with at least some of the wonderful things happening every day at school?

As technology designers and developers, we can’t help with this vital work in person!  But we definitely can help with other important, effective ways to engage with your community, including:

  • Vibrant school website to show your school at its best!
  • Smartphone app to message parents when there’s something urgent or important
  • E-newsletter to share news, successes, photos, sports results and so on.

Because we know schools are super-busy places, we’ve placed a real emphasis on keeping it simple and efficient for whoever looks after digital communications in your school.

Just one example: You control everything in one place!  No multiple logins and passwords; no tedious duplication of content e.g. adding an events to the website AND THEN duplicating it on the app! 🙁

We have a very talented team working for you—each an expert is her or his field, be it account management, customer support, web design or software development.

Our Story

In business now for over 20 years, KiwiSchools was originally founded by Paul Stuart, an educational technology consultant, current CEO, and former university lecturer,

His goal was to help schools across New Zealand integrate new, emerging digital technologies into their day-to-day education delivery and communications. While working with and within schools, Paul identified that, while every school was quite different in many ways, there was one thing they all had in common—the need to more effectively reach and engage with the people in their school community.

The challenge was that schools needed additional support and specialised, sometimes technical expertise to do this, and over time KiwiSchools evolved to meet this need.

Jackie Smith, an experienced ECE teacher, joined theKiwiSchools team several years ago and now “runs the show” as General Manager.  Between her and Paul, we now bring a wealth of qualified education sector experience  and insight into what really makes a difference when it comes to community engagement.

The rest of our team bring their own special gifts and talents — you can check them out above.

We’re privileged to work with schools all over New Zealand/Aotearoa, supporting their community engagement journeys with our vibrant school websites, simple-to-use smartphone app, easy e-newsletters and great customer support.
