We believe in fostering a secure, caring child centred environment. We work hard to create an atmosphere of unity, where school and community work side by side to get the best outcomes for children, where older children support the younger ones, and where people should feel free to talk to us about any issue, no matter how large or small.
We believe in setting clear and consistent guidelines where emphasis is on positively rewarding successes, whether they be academic, sporting or social.
We believe in providing children with as many learning opportunities as we can. Within our resources, children have opportunities to participate in music, drama, art, a range of sports, and get special help or enrichment in several curriculum areas. Our programmes do, however, place emphasis on literacy and numeracy.
Ranzau School is staffed by a competent, caring professional team including teachers and support staff. We also welcome and appreciate the help of parents / caregivers at school.
