Welcome to the Parkland School Website
My name is Peter Barnett and I am very proud to be the principal of Parkland School.
'RISE TO THE CHALLENGE'
Our vision statement implies that Parkland students will rise to meet the wide range of exciting challenges they will face during their time at school.
The school's logo has the word 'CONSIDERATION' This means that there is an expectation that all those involved in our school community will be considerate:

Parkland School has six core VALUES
Consideration - For ourselves, others and the environment.

Excellence - Achieving high standards in everthing we do.
Honesty - Being honest with ourselves and others in everything we do.
Staff regularly prepare material for placement on the website to let you know what is happening in and around the school and in individual classrooms. Some classes are operating their own wikki's. These can be accessed through the class teachesr page on this website. (see - Our People)
We encourage you to visit the website on a regular basis find out what is going on at Parkland and to keep in touch with the learning going on in each room.
It has been designed to keep our current parents informed on what is happening around our busy school. At the same time we hope it provides families considering enrolling their child at our school with some of the "flavour" of Parkland. At present we have approx 20 places for out of zone students. Anyone considering enrolling their child should contact the school.
